This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your role
As part of the Radio-Canada Digital Media team, you will play an active role in creating innovative projects on Radio-Canada’s major platforms, such as Radio-Canada INFO, Olympic Games coverage, OHdio, RCI and Mordu. You will take an active role in our development of our current platforms. You’ll be called upon to develop our content management system (CMS), adapting it to the needs of journalists, webmasters and developers.
You will need to participate in the 'Shift left' transformation by adopting new AI tools to optimize operations that will ensure the proper functioning of the main tool for journalists and webmasters.
Main responsibilities

Writes risk reports at the start of projects and transfers knowledge to the management team.

Creates methods for testing stories before development, considering existing or to-be-created automation tools.

Create and maintain test cases for the solution.

Maintain an overview of the project, processes, and deliverables to prioritize high-value quality control.

Participate in the implementation of CI/CD without compromising the expected quality.
-
Implement new working methods using agentic development and AI tools.
-
Promote autonomy in quality processes for all team members.
-
Document decisions and changes for training and collaboration purposes.

Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, scrums, demos, retros, ...).

Participate in release processes.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Technologies
-
Advanced knowledge of web application development lifecycles.
-
Advanced knowledge of Google Chrome and its diagnostic tools.
-
Knowledge of various AI tools such as Copilot-CLI.
-
Understanding of Agentic AI configuration techniques.
-
Knowledge of Gherkin writing methodology.
-
Knowledge of Testrail test case library tools.
-
Knowledge of payload validation tools (Postman, Bruno).
-
Knowledge of React, MongoDB, and Elastic Search is an asset.
-
Knowledge of Azure Service Bus is an asset.

5 to 10 years of experience in the field or post-secondary education in a relevant IT/technical field
