Full Stack Developer (12-Month Contract)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

Rate: $100 per hour
Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract opportunity with a dynamic organization in North York. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of web applications, integrations, reporting solutions, databases, and mobile applications while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled developer with strong experience across the Microsoft technology stack and a passion for building, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Support.
Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and business solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and system procedures.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues.
Support business-critical applications and system integrations.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Create and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards.
Identify opportunities to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
Database & Reporting
Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases and queries.
Support reporting solutions and data analytics initiatives.
Ensure data integrity, performance, and system reliability.
Develop and maintain reporting and business intelligence solutions.
Mobile Application Support
Support and enhance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
Participate in application testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
Implement new features and improvements based on business requirements.
Infrastructure & Technical Support
Assist with application deployments and environment management.
Support system performance monitoring and optimization initiatives.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure application stability and security.
Team Collaboration
Participate in project planning, estimation, and status meetings.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.
Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
Strong hands-on experience with:
ASP.NET
C#
.NET Framework / MVC
JavaScript
jQuery
Bootstrap
REST APIs
Microsoft SQL Server
Power BI
Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level web applications.
Strong SQL database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with API development and system integrations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python, Java, or PHP.
Experience supporting or developing mobile applications.
Knowledge of IIS administration and deployment practices.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
