An IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure-focused IT projects, including network upgrades, cloud migrations, data center deployments, and system implementations. This role ensures solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Delivery

Define project scope, objectives, benefits, and success criteria

2. Infrastructure Project Execution

Lead and manage projects in collaboration with third-party vendors and PHSA

Coordinate installation, configuration, and rollout of IT systems
3. Stakeholder Management

The Project Support Manager provides project management oversight and support services to FHA clients across a specified group of projects.
The Project Support Manager provides project management services to Fraser Health (FH) clients in the areas of strategic business systems planning, business process design and information management; develops plans and strategies to deliver organizational and enterprise-wide initiatives from initial idea stage to implementation and leads the processes to realize business and operational benefits for the client group; consults with stakeholders and other client groups to implement overall IM strategic direction by supporting the Informatics Council and Steering Committees.
The Project Support Manager leads enterprise-wide projects and other major organizational initiatives including managing timelines and resources, facilitating transition and change management, coordinating the procurement and management of external services and the management of assigned staff; develops standards for project practice and governance, measures compliance with existing processes and procedures, supports and complements the activities to ensure current and continually improving project oversight and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains the Health Informatics & Information Technology (HIIT) project inventory.

Oversees the Performance Management process for assigned HIIT projects. Manages enterprise-wide projects and/or major organizational initiatives through the project management lifecycle using standard methodologies by developing related plans, identifying financial implications, ensuring financial requirements are met and formulating change management strategies.

Maintains project standards for quality, transparency, and governance according to the Project Management Office Project Lifecycle. Works with Project Management Office team engaged in setting and maintaining standards for project practice; researches, designs, develops and implements tools and processes informed by industry best practice; keeps current of FH's requirements for project standards to ensure current and continually improving project delivery.

Supports Project Teams in planning and development according to the Project Management Office Project Lifecycle. Ensures that all projects follow the Project Management Office Project Lifecycle as mandated by executives. Works with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders by monitoring and reporting on all project phases to ensure project success and overall quality of implemented solutions; provides updates on project status and related project aspects and advises Project Sponsor of project issues requiring immediate attention and/or intervention.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or Health Information Science, supplemented with seven (7) years' recent related experience with contemporary project management practice including three (3) years' experience as a project manager for a large complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
