As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an outstanding Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist / Legal Assistant to manage front-of-house responsibilities while supporting our lawyers and paralegals throughout the real estate closing process.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing exceptional client service, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

You will play an important role in ensuring our clients receive an outstanding experience from their first phone call through to the successful completion of their transaction.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and maintain a professional reception area
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails
Open new client files and assist with file organization
Coordinate appointments and signing meetings
Prepare and complete lender and law firm reporting packages following closing
Assist lawyers and paralegals with file preparation and administrative support
Coordinate courier deliveries, mail, office supplies, and general office administration
Maintain a high standard of organization and client service throughout the office

Qualifications

1–3 years of legal assistant or administrative experience (real estate experience is an asset)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Exceptional attention to detail
Professional, friendly, and client-focused attitude
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office
Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal software is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary ($40,000–$55,000 depending on experience)
