We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to lead quality assurance, test strategy execution, and automated testing across complex, enterprise-scale platforms. In this role, you will design and build UI and API test automation frameworks from the ground up, perform end-to-end integration and data integrity validation, and execute structured functional testing. Working within an Agile Scrum environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to validate backend services, manage defects, and ensure overall software quality and system interoperability.

Responsibilities
Automated Framework Development: Architect, build, and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworks from scratch using modern frameworks (Selenium or Playwright) and languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
API & Integration Testing: Conduct end-to-end API testing, contract validation, payload verification, and authentication testing for RESTful and SOAP web services using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or ReadyAPI.
Database & Data Validation: Perform database testing and data integrity verification using complex SQL queries across relational database management systems.
Functional & End-to-End Testing: Analyze business and technical requirements to write and execute test plans, test scenarios, and user stories for functional and system integration testing.
Defect Life Cycle Management: Identify, log, track, and manage software defects through resolution using Jira or TestRail, working closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Security & Authentication Verification: Execute test cases covering system access, certificates, OAuth, JWT tokens, and SAML-based authentication protocols.
DevOps & Agile Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
Quality Advisory & Go-Live Support: Provide test effort estimates, assess quality risks, assist with release readiness, and mentor junior QA team members on test automation practices.
Qualifications
Enterprise QA Seniority: Minimum 7 years of enterprise QA testing experience validating large-scale backend applications, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and complex data workflows (Strictly Required).
UI Automation Framework Engineering: Advanced hands-on experience designing and building UI automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium or Playwright paired with Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript (Strictly Required).
API & Web Services Automation: Strong experience with REST/SOAP API testing and contract validation using Postman, REST Assured, or ReadyAPI (Strictly Required).
Database & SQL Validation: Extensive experience conducting data integrity and database validation using SQL queries (Strictly Required).
Authentication Protocols: Proven experience testing security and access permissions using OAuth, JWT tokens, SAML, and digital certificates (Strictly Required).
Agile & DevOps Workflow: Hands-on experience operating within Agile Scrum delivery models and integrating test tools with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including testing HL7 FHIR resources and HL7 v2/v3 data structures.
