Full job description

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Senior Program Manager oversees the Program Managers and reports directly to the President and CEO. The position inform the President, Shop Forman, Engineering Manager, Purchasing and the Controller of all information pertaining to new mould builds, engineering changes, refurbishments and try-outs. To keep the customers abreast of the progress of their programs at all times. Keep a detailed track record of all programs and their schedules. Clear up any open issues relating to programs through the customer. To be the “go-to” person between the Customer and Laval Tool at all times. Attend and record all try-outs.

Specific Duties

· Receive purchase order and issue quotes and information to the Controller

· Issue all Laval Job numbers and keep job number books up to date.

· Prepare weekly timelines with updated pictures of progress for all programs

· Prepare APQP sheets for initial build kick-offs and issue them to the Engineering Manager, the Plant Manger and the customer.

· Prepare TSA Books for a specific customer.

· Set-up and fluently update new workbooks in One-note for each program.

· Schedule, record a weekly manufacturing meeting.

· Keep Job boards updated with delivery dates.

· Review operations that may be subcontracted on any given program.

· Create and keep record of all open issues pertaining to the program.

· Inform all necessary departments with information needed to build the program.

· Review drawings and designs with the Engineering Manager

· Customer Liaison

· Attend and record all try-outs

· Attend and advise at all Engineering Design Meetings.

· Fulfill all other duties and assignments as directed by the President.

· Attend, log and create all correspondence involving Research and Development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
