Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Steel Detailer(Tekla only) to join our team in Canada. Based in our office, the Steel Detailer will play a vital role in creating precise structural designs and detailed drawings that support our project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed steel shop drawings and fabrication drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Review design documents and schematics to produce comprehensive detailing packages.
Coordinate with the project team to resolve design conflicts and optimize fabrication processes.
Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
Ensure all detailing work complies with safety standards and quality requirements.
Support site teams during installation by providing clarifications on drawings as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Steel Detailer or similar role within the construction or steel fabrication industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, and other relevant CAD software.
Strong understanding of structural steel components and construction processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
