Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled developer to join our dynamic consulting team. We work with many of Canada's biggest companies in Financial Services, Retail and Hospitality.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and testing customized Salesforce solutions that enhance our client's business and marketing processes.

This role requires an understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud/Next architectures, as well as experience with digital marketing tools and web development technologies.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that support our client's growth and customer engagement strategies.

On top of the technical requirements, we need a self-starter who is comfortable talking to clients, as client management is required.

This role is primarily "work from home" with two in-person sessions each month.

Responsibilities

Develop and customize Salesforce applications using AMPscript, HTML, SQL, Apex, and other Salesforce tools.
Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and manage the client relationship.
Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and platforms to streamline business operations.
Optimize Salesforce performance and ensure data integrity across all modules.
Collaborate with client teams to implement digital marketing campaigns.
Technical design and implementation of web-based solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL to support marketing initiatives.
Create compelling emails slicing ready-made files using Adobe Photoshop.
Configure and manage Data Extensions, Automation Studio workflows, and Journey Builder paths to support complex customer lifecycles.
Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
Manage email marketing campaigns and analyze campaign performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Maintain documentation of development processes and provide ongoing support for Salesforce applications.

Experience

Foundational knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and SQL is required
Experience with AMPscript and SSJS is highly preferred; however, we are willing to train a strong Web Developer with a passion for the Salesforce ecosystem.
Background in digital marketing tools and email marketing platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical client stakeholders.
Prior experience working within a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams is preferred. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a versatile developer with a passion for digital marketing and web technologies to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative setting.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
