The platform services both Institutional and Wealth Management clients. The Wealth Management platform provides significant growth potential for Charles River. The team sits in the heart of this solution set providing critical support for the platform.
This position will be a critical contributor with ownership for designing and implementing complex wealth and investment management workflows leveraged by some of the largest participants in the industry. The role requires a strong full-stack engineer who can work across rich web functionality, backend services, automated testing, performance engineering, and system scalability while contributing to sustainable technical design and high-quality delivery in a collaborative environment.
Work under minimal supervision to analyze, design, develop, test, and debug small to large software enhancements and solutions within Charles River’s business and technical problem domains, with strong ownership of delivery quality and maintainability.
Participate in the design of product architecture within the team’s scope of responsibility, contributing to scalable, supportable, and sustainable technical solutions.
Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications, and services using Java, C#, SQL, React, or other related software engineering technologies.
Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the CRD scrum methodology, including attending daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study required.
2 to 5 years of experience in financial services developing solutions for Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR, or Wealth Management is strongly desired.
Hands-on development experience with relevant technologies from this role, including Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, SQL, and related software engineering technologies, with the ability to deliver sustainable solutions with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated experience with object-oriented programming, REST APIs, event-driven systems, automated testing, scripting, and performance-focused engineering practices.
Experience with cloud and modernization technologies relevant to this role, such as Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, micro-services, and event-driven architecture.
Previous experience in investment management services such as developing solutions for Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR or Wealth Management is strongly desired
Salary Range:
$91,000 - $140,500 Annual
