The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at our Calgary Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to a growing organization.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller and AR/AP Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while building strong relationships both internally and with vendors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review, verify, and process invoices and expense claims in a timely manner
- Prepare weekly CAD and USD payment runs (cheques/electronic payments)
- Track and forecast recurring monthly expenses
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate accounts
- Act as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries
- Process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Support month-end processes, reporting, and audit requirements
- Maintain organized and confidential financial records
- Provide support across the Finance team, including cross-training in Accounts Receivable
- Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks
What You Bring
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or related experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems (cloud-based an asset)
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and data entry
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
