Nuclear and power generation facilities are complex, interdependent systems. Keeping them running safely and reliably requires engineers who take ownership of assigned systems — who monitor performance, investigate anomalies, drive maintenance strategies, and see modifications through from identification to implementation. The organizations running Ontario's nuclear and hydro fleet rely on systems engineers and plant engineers as a core technical function, and the demand for qualified professionals in these roles is steady and ongoing.
Raise is building a pipeline of Systems Engineers and Plant Engineers for contract opportunities with a leading enterprise organization in Ontario's energy sector. This is not a live posting for a single role. Apply once, and we will reach out when a role matches your discipline and experience.
About the Opportunity
These roles exist across nuclear generating stations, hydroelectric facilities, and new-build programs. At nuclear sites, systems engineers are accountable for the health, reliability, and regulatory compliance of specific plant systems — from primary heat transport to electrical distribution to auxiliary systems. At hydro stations, plant engineers provide technical oversight of generating equipment, conduct condition assessments, and support maintenance and capital programs. Across both, the work is hands-on, technically rigorous, and consequential.
