Quality in a nuclear environment is not a department — it is a program. Every component, every weld, every inspection, and every supplier has to be tracked, documented, and verified against standards that are more demanding than almost any other industry. As major refurbishment programs and new construction projects ramp up, the demand for QA and QC professionals who understand this environment is growing.
Raise is building a pipeline of Quality Assurance and Quality Control professionals for contract opportunities with organizations operating in Ontario's nuclear sector and related industrial environments. This is not a live posting for a single role. Apply once, and we will reach out when something matches your background.
About the Opportunity
The Pickering Refurbishment, the Darlington SMR, and the broader nuclear supply chain supporting these programs all require rigorous quality oversight — at the fabrication stage, during construction, at installation, and through commissioning. QA and QC professionals are needed across the organization, at engineering and design firms, and at manufacturing and construction contractors. The work spans developing quality plans and ITPs, conducting vendor surveillance, performing field inspections, and ensuring compliance with codes including ASME, CSA, and nuclear-specific standards.

Why Apply Now
QA and QC demand across the nuclear sector is accelerating alongside construction activity. Vendor surveillance roles in particular require cleared professionals with nuclear site access — the earlier we know about your background and clearance status, the faster we can place you when the need is confirmed.
Experience in nuclear, manufacturing, construction, or industrial quality environments is a strong asset. Candidates with existing nuclear security clearance or OPG site access are especially encouraged to apply.
Location: Ontario nuclear sites, manufacturing facilities, and supplier locations — primarily onsite
Contract Length: Typically 12 to 24 months, with strong likelihood of extension
