Full job description

Our client is seeking a Controller for a 1-month contract with a possible contract extension. You will be responsible for the following:

Review and reconcile GL accounts over the past year in Sage 50
Prepare financial statements on monthly basis
Provide guidance and training to Bookkeeper
Assist with the conversion of Sage 50 to QuickBooks Online along with integration of Uptick software system as a possible 2nd phase of contract engagement

Designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) with solid accounting experience and adept in investigating and reconciling a company's financial records.

You also have the following key skills and experience for the contract role:

Full cycle accounting and GL account reconciliation experience along with experience preparing financial statements
Sage 50 experience would be essential
Great communication skills
Adept working in a small company environment
Can provide information and instructions in a tactful manner
Approachable and east to talk to
Down to earth and respectful
Fun to work with
Be a trusted source of information
