Automotive Service Technician / 3rd–4th Year Apprentice

Cambridge Mitsubishi is looking for a motivated Licensed Automotive Service Technician or 3rd–4th Year Apprentice to join our family-owned and operated dealership.

This is a flat-rate position with strong earning potential for a productive and experienced technician.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify required maintenance and repairs
- Perform routine services, including oil changes, fluid services, tune-ups, and tire rotations
- Repair and replace components such as brakes, wheel bearings, suspension parts, and other mechanical systems
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical service bulletins, and dealership guidelines
- Test completed repairs to ensure vehicles are operating safely and properly
- Clearly document diagnostic steps, repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations
- Communicate vehicle concerns and completed repairs when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician licence, or
- Registered third- or fourth-year automotive apprentice
- Previous automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Positive, dependable, and self-motivated attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
Compensation
- Third- or fourth-year apprentice: $28 per flat-rate hour
- Licensed technicians: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications
