AWS Developer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AWS Developer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AWS Developer - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join a collaborative and teamwork-oriented group. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions using AWS services and modern frameworks. This is a new role, part of a Business As Usual (BAU) project, providing exposure to new technologies and interactions with various groups within BMO.

AWS Developer - Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications on AWS
Build backend services using Java
Implement scalable backend services and APIs leveraging AWS services
Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React and Angular
Integrate front-end applications with backend services and AWS infrastructure
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices for cloud deployments

AWS Developer - Mandatory Skills:

8+ years of development work experience with Java
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with HTML, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript
Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, CDK)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS)
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment

AWS Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of security best practices in AWS
Experience in the Banking/Financial industry
Using AI tools for coding and automation
Ability to translate user needs into technical specifications
Experience working independently on complex tasks

AWS Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

ASAP

AWS Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office.
