ABOUT THE POSITION:
-
Provides leadership to a group of clinics by providing guidance and support for day to day operations and patient care.
-
Responsible for building strong clinic teams with an emphasis on providing an exceptional patient experience.

Will be familiar with, report on and improve clinicperformance based on the key performance indicators.

Oversees day to day staffing andprovides relief staffing within clinics as needed.
- Supports and oversees the operations of a group of clinics within a specific territory including managing staff, supporting patients and optimizing clinic performance
-
Will respond to and resolve concerns or escalate issues from patients, physicians and the general public while supporting a patient centric service model.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

Post-Secondary education in a relevant discipline
-
At least three years’ experience in a leadership role ideally within a healthcare environment
-
Experience in managing operations ideally within a variety of clinical settings (addiction or mental health specialties preferred)
-
Working level knowledge and comfort with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)

Current certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or other medical certification would be considered an asset.

Satisfactory criminal reference check

You must live within or be able to travel daily to the clinic within the territory.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel to clinics and meetings

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations (80%)
-
Manages day to day operations of a group of clinics; responsible for clinic performance including regular reporting using appropriate KPIs
-
Mentors, encourages, supports and guides the clinic staff to build a culture of empowerment, respect and non-judgement for all staff and patients

Supports and trains all staff, new and current, to provide optimal patient care
-
Empowers staff to work as one team, one service alongside Canadian Addiction Treatment Pharmacies or another pharmacy partner

Ensures appropriate staffing compliment
-
Reports high priority/impact issues to the Regional Manager.

Instigates and facilitates the hiring process; including making staffing requests, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews and facilitating the offer process
-
Conducts daily/weekly huddle meetings with staff in each clinic to share news, provide feedback, answer questions and listen to staff concerns. Makes changes within clinics to respond to engagement feedback.
- Ensure clinics are operating in a good state of physical repair by taking actions on repair requests as they are needed and proactively identifying areas of improvement

Liaises with Union Representatives to foster positive working relationships

Performs work in accordance with the provisions of CATC Policies and Procedures and ensure that employees are aware of and comply with all Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- May be required to work in a clinic if a critical staffing issue cannot be resolved

Responsible for performance reviews of clinic staff with assistance from the Regional Manager.

Community Engagement (20%)

Seeks opportunities to develop relationships within the community to proactively promote CATC offerings to appropriate community organizations

Identify opportunities to expand CATC services through community partnerships – e.g. Addiction counselling
-
Educate and inform direct reports on utilizing community resources; create awareness and identify key employees how may support and assist in Community Engagement efforts
