Full job description

Our law office is looking for a freelance licenced paraglegal/ law clerk to assist with family/civil litigation files. The candiate should :

a) have at least 2 years experience working as a licenced paralegal or family law clerk;

b) a valid paralegal licence with the Law Society of Ontario and a valid Law Pro or error and omission insurance. For Licenced Paralegal Position.

c) a valid G or G2 Driver's Licence and drive his/her own vehicle.

Job Description

drafting of court documents and forms
preparing motion, trial briefs etc
other adminstrative and/or legal matters

The remuneration will be pay by an hourly basis of $100/hour on billable hours on actual work done on the file for Licences Paralegal position. For Law Clerk position, it is $22/hr on actual work done on the file. For travelling to the office in person, the candidate will be compensated separately for the travelling costs.
