Full job description

Job Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking & shipping orders, receiving and recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from our warehouse facilities operating Crown Counterbalance, High Reach and Dock Stocker.

Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am

Responsibilities

Must have experience operating Crown Dock Stocker and Crown High Reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in selecting items for shipment.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support overall warehouse operations.
Keep work environment clean
Ability to work in -18 temperatures
Potential for permanent hire with the company

Qualifications

Proven 3 years of experience operating forklifts, with certification preferred.
Experience specifically on the Dock Stocker and High Reach
Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse distribution practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.
Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
