Wilkare Tooling is currently hiring a Tool & Die Maker to join our team. Licensed Tool and Die Makers and Apprentices are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow the prioritized list of all tooling activities, engineering changes, new die builds and continuous improvements.
Work safely following legislated and Wilkare safety rules and practices to support and encourage health and safety.
Support open communications between all departments emphasizing a team approach

DUTIES

Build dies, spare components, jigs and fixtures.
Troubleshooting new tooling during development and die tryout.
Provide suggestions for quotations or new tooling and engineering changes.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for dies and processes.
Ensure documentation and reporting of repairs and costing is accurate and complete for the jobs you are assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Certified Tool and Die maker or apprentice program
Extensive experience preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and building of new tooling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
