Leasing Agent Found Spaces Property Management Inc. Hamilton, Ontario
$5,100 – $10,200+ in uncapped commission
We're hiring a Leasing Agent to own the front line of our rental experience.
This is a sales role with real accountability. You'll carry a showing schedule, qualify tenants, close leases, and represent Found Spaces in the field across Hamilton and the surrounding region. The commission structure is designed to reward people who move fast and close clean.

About Found Spaces
We're a Hamilton-based property management company building the kind of operation the industry doesn't usually deliver - premium service, real standards, and a team that holds itself accountable. We manage residential properties on behalf of owners across Hamilton, Niagara, Brantford, and Halton.
We operate on systems and leverage, not on busyness. The bar is high and we don't apologise for that.
The Role
The Leasing Agent owns the tenant pipeline from first inquiry to move-in day. The seat covers five areas of responsibility:
- Lead generation and outreach - sourcing prospective tenants through marketing, networking, and follow-up. You run your own funnel.
- Showing management - booking and hosting in-person property tours, managing your own schedule, and representing the units with care.
- Tenant qualification and closing - pre-screening applicants, negotiating applications, and securing signed leases. This is a sales seat. Closing is the job.
- Move-in execution - preparing keys, completing unit inspections, and meeting tenants on move-in day to make sure the transition is smooth.
- Team collaboration and admin - contributing to leasing targets, sharing what's working, and supporting leasing department operations as needed.
You'll be the face of Found Spaces for prospective tenants. The impression you leave matters as much as the lease you sign.
Who You Are
You're a people-first closer with strong instincts and a clean track record of getting deals done.
What we're looking for, specifically:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, residential leasing, or customer service. A background in leasing is an asset but strong sales experience translates well -- we can teach the product.
- Working knowledge of the Standard Ontario Lease Agreement and the Residential Tenancy Act, or a clear willingness to learn them quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to move a conversation toward a decision without pressure.
- Self-management. You'll run your own schedule and your own pipeline. This seat requires someone who doesn't need to be managed to perform.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. The territory is real - Hamilton, Niagara, Brantford, Halton, Kitchener/Waterloo. You need to be able to get there.
- Professional presentation and customer service instincts. You're representing Found Spaces in person, on the phone, and over email. How you show up matters.

If you're looking for a predictable, low-accountability seat, this isn't it.
If commission makes you nervous and you'd rather cap your earning than carry the pressure of performance, this isn't it.
If you need close supervision to stay productive, this isn't it.
We'd rather wait for the right person than fill the seat with someone who's going to be uncomfortable in it.

Location and Work Arrangement
This is a field-based role. You'll be in the office for team collaboration and out on the road for showings and move-ins. The expectation is presence when presence matters - flexibility is built around the actual demands of the work.
