Full job description

Engineer (Change Management + Java + Devops)
Toronto - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)
Long term Contract

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with experience in Change Management and ServiceNow to support production change processes and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with Change Management teams, development teams, and stakeholders to manage production changes, maintain documentation, and support process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

* Create and manage production change records in ServiceNow.

* Ensure all change requests comply with enterprise policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.

* Review and maintain required documentation, approvals, and supporting attachments for production changes.

* Collaborate with development, operations, and Change Management teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Monitor and track change implementations, ensuring successful execution and minimal business impact.

* Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.

* Troubleshoot operational and process-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

* Communicate change status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Change Management & ServiceNow

* Experience creating and managing production change records in ServiceNow.

* Strong understanding of Change Management processes and best practices.

* Experience ensuring compliance with enterprise change policies and procedures.

* Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and software release processes.

#### Technical Skills

* Basic to intermediate experience with:

* Python

* TypeScript

* Shell Scripting

* Familiarity with:

* GitHub

* Jenkins

* OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

* CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in Agile environments.

* Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.

* Experience supporting enterprise-level production environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

* Python automation for operational tasks.

* CI/CD pipeline management.

* OpenShift and container platform experience.

* Process optimization and workflow automation.Experience Required:** 5+ years (preferred)

**Tools:** ServiceNow, GitHub, Jenkins, OpenShift (OCP), Python, TypeScript, Shell Scripting

**Domain:** Change Management / Production Support / Release Management / DevOps Support

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
