Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of Android development experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin.
Experience working at the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) level, including:
- Headless services
- APIs
- AIDLs
- HAL/HIDL
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
Experience executing xTS test suites and troubleshooting reported issues.
Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks such as:
- gTest
- gMock
- Robolectric
- Mockito
Strong knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Android application development experience.
Experience using Android Debug Bridge (ADB).
Advanced debugging skills using gdb and static analysis tools.
Experience flashing hardware modules.
Strong Linux proficiency.
Embedded software development experience in automotive, mobile, or related environments.
Experience with C programming.
Master's degree in a related field.
