As a Solutions Architect on WBM’s Digital Transformation Team, you will lead solution design and provide implementation guidance for client technology projects, translating business outcomes into secure, scalable, and supportable solutions.
Microsoft 365 and cloud architecture are the core requirements for this role, complemented by hands-on experience planning and guiding Server, Azure, Endpoint, and Network migration initiatives.
You will work closely with enterprise architects, project managers, solutions specialists, vendors, and client stakeholders through discovery, assessment, solution design, project planning, implementation oversight, and transition to support.
Success in this position comes from designing solutions that solve defined client problems, align with business outcomes and industry best practices, and are clearly documented for successful delivery and operational handoff.
-
Lead technical discovery and assessment activities, translating business and technical requirements into current-state and target-state solution designs.
-
Develop migration approaches, implementation plans, assumptions, dependencies, risks, technical acceptance criteria, and scope boundaries.
-
Architect Microsoft 365 and cloud solutions across tenant, identity, collaboration, security, compliance, governance, endpoint management, and Azure integration.
-
Design and guide Server, Azure, Endpoint, and Network migrations, including sequencing, coexistence, cutover, rollback, testing, validation, and transition-to-support requirements.
-
Execute complex technical tasks when required and provide technical direction to delivery resources so solutions are implemented as designed.
-
Collaborate with new clients, internal teams, and external vendors to assess environments, identify gaps, and define remediation or project work required to meet support, security, and compliance standards.
-
Embed identity, access, data protection, security, compliance, business continuity, resiliency, and operational support considerations into solution designs.
-
Facilitate design reviews, resolve technical issues and dependencies, guide technical decisions, and clearly communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Create and maintain high-quality solution designs, architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, implementation records, support documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
-
Ensure project changes, decisions, configurations, and support requirements are accurately handed off to Support Services at project closure.
-
Communicate project progress, technical risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions clearly and promptly.
-
Deliver a positive and professional customer experience throughout each engagement.
-
Progressive experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable client-facing technology role, with a proven record of successful project implementation.
