Full job description

We are currently seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our farming operation as Seasonal Farm Workers. This position is vital to the daily success and productivity of the farm and involves a variety of agricultural tasks related to crop cultivation, harvesting, irrigation, and general farm maintenance. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn and contribute in a fast-paced farming environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops according to farm production schedules.
Operate, clean, and maintain farm machinery, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.
Perform field maintenance duties, including weeding, pruning, and monitoring crop health.
Inspect crops regularly for signs of pests, disease, or damage and report concerns to supervisors.
Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and transporting harvested produce and farm materials.
Use hand tools, power tools, and farming equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Carry out general farm upkeep, including maintaining clean and organized work areas.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive movements, bending, standing, and heavy lifting.
Follow workplace safety procedures and farm operating standards at all times.
Support other farm operations and duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous farming or agricultural experience is considered an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.
Experience operating tractors, heavy equipment, or farm machinery is beneficial.
Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is an advantage.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred.
Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential.
