We are looking for an experienced manual machinist with BORING MILL OR LINE BORING experience who takes pride in their work!

We are accepting resumes for an experienced (preferably Red Seal/Journeyman) Machinist to work with our trusted team. At Millwright Machine we have the expertise to get every job done well. Our handpicked team of machinists, welders and millwrights and high-capacity machinery keeps us equipped for any heavy repair job that comes through our doors.

The Job:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
Repair and adjust machines, tools and parts
Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
Experience in manual machining
Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Have experience in using micrometers, calipers and verniers
Routine maintenance of machines and tools

The Machinist will be:

Repair experience an asset
