Full job description

Job Overview
Slipform Canada is looking for someone who we can train to manufacture the products that we use daily. This person must have at least 2 years of welding experience. General knowledge of a steel fabricating plant and equipment is helpful but not a necessity. The ability to operate hand tools adeptly is required.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not exclusive to:

- Welding

- Fabricating molds

- Welding on heavy equipment

- Grinding

- Brake Press

- Drilling

- Iron Worker

- General Shop Clean-up and Maintenance

Once trained you will work independently in a group setting but often out in the field. There are deadlines to meet but quality is our highest priority. You will have 4 weeks of holidays at Christmas.

Application deadline: When the position has been filled.

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Must be able to work in Georgina/ Toronto Ontario.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Based on experience

Schedule:

Day shift
No weekends unless absolutely required and you will have the final say.
