Full job description

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Male and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to support our bakery operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while assisting the baking team with daily tasks. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where maintaining hygiene and supporting production is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, baking trays, utensils, mixing bowls, and equipment
Operate dishwashing machines and properly handle cleaning chemicals
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, sinks, storage, and work areas
Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory
Support bakers with basic prep tasks, packing baked goods, and arranging items
Ensure cleaned tools and equipment are properly stored
Take out garbage and recycling, and maintain waste disposal areas
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Assist with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment throughout the shift

Requirements:

Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically active environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
Good teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery is an asset.
