Employment Status: Full-time, Permanent. 7:30 – 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Compensation:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience + bonus

It is a specific, niche, stand-alone assembly position – the first position in our overall assembly process, for which you will receive hands-on training – similar to an apprentice. Role Purpose
The Mechanical Assembler (fan blade fabrication) is responsible for the assembly, testing, balancing and preparation of ventilation and air movement products in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products are assembled accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble fan parts (blades, hubs), ventilation, and air movement products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect and balance components and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform basic testing and verification of assembled products prior to shipment.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
- Identify and report quality concerns, damaged components, or production issues to supervisors.
- Assist with product packaging, crating, and preparation for shipment as required.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Support inventory control by reporting material shortages and assisting with cycle counts when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, engineering, and quality teams to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and safety.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in manual mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and basic technical documentation.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work primarily independently but as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive assembly tasks.
- Able to work standing for long periods with expected breaks.
- Comfortable with machine operation – experience with a balancing machine would be a strong asset.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to workplace safety.
- Forklift experience or certification considered an asset.
- Experience with ventilation, HVAC, fan, or mechanical equipment manufacturing would be preferred.
