Any Group Bay Workforce is hiring for ESSO Gas Station Cashier to run our day to day operations for our location on 305 Rexdale Blvd. Etobicoke from duties involving cleaning cars to Esso cashier duties.
Job Summary:
You will plan and oversee the daily operations of the location to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
Monday to Friday from 7am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Interviews and trains new employees.
- Organizes and oversees the scheduled and work of assigned staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans and organizes daily activities related to operations including determining labor needs to meet production goals.
- Managing all aspects of running a gas station in regards to OLG lottery, daily gas dips, convenience store inventory management.
- Checking & maintaining the car wash equipment is safe to run.
- Monitor team success in achieving regular sales goals related to car counts and subscriptions.
- Coordinates with support departments such as human resources and maintenance to ensure successful operations.
- Assists with, or prepares and updates, organizations operations manual and policies.
- Determines staffing, hours of work, and establishes performance standards. Interviews and selects candidates for employment.
- Adheres to and improves the safety culture of the site and is accountable for the safety of their employees.
- Conducts individual and group employee meetings to resolve problems and communicate programs, policies and practices to maintain positive employee relations.
- Works directly with the customer to resolve complaints, incident reports, and overall satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot unlimited subscription sales and accounts.
- When not completing managerial tasks, participate in day to day operations alongside team members.
- Identify equipment malfunctions that could cause vehicle damage.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills and GAS STATION EXPERIENCE IS MUST.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using windows computer and perform basic functions and pos.
