The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Brandon is looking for Room Attendants with good attention detail to join our team! The Room Attendant will promote a positive image of the property to guests and take on the role of professional ambassadors of the hotel, providing excellent guest experiences and reliable brand standards.

The Housekeeping department is a crucial part of our overall operation and there is never a dull moment. It is a physically demanding job, and one where perfection is the minimum standard – if you love to clean and want to be a part of a team where your leaders are going to be rolling up their sleeves and working alongside you to get the job done, then look no further! We all work together to make the hotel shine so that guests can have the best experience possible.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and brand goals

Thoroughly clean assigned rooms
Take initiative to offer friendly assistance or answer questions from our guests
Thoroughly understand and implement brand service culture
Perform all shift checklist responsibilities
Perform other duties or projects assigned by management

Ability to work independently
Must adhere to grooming standards
Must adhere to all safety guidelines when using cleaning materials
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Must be able to bend, push, pull, kneel, lift and stand for extended periods of time

Perform other duties as required
Good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset
No education or experience required, we will provide training
