Job Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Masonry Labourer, where your energy and dedication will contribute to building durable, high-quality structures. In this role, you will assist skilled masons in executing a variety of masonry projects, including new constructions, renovations, and restoration work. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their construction skills and grow within a vibrant team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist masons with preparing and setting up work sites using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed
Mix mortar, concrete, and other materials accurately for various masonry applications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes safely to transport materials around the site
Perform demolition, restoration, and renovation tasks to support ongoing projects
Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly storing tools and materials
Support caulking and sealing tasks during restoration or renovation projects to ensure quality finishes

Qualifications

Previous construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is highly preferred
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Knowledge of masonry techniques including bricklaying, stonework, or concrete finishing is a plus
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration, renovation, and construction processes
Must have own transportation
