About Us

We are a family-owned quick service restaurant focused on serving fresh, high-quality food with fast, friendly service. We’re looking for a dependable Cook who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a small, close-knit team.

Job Description

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items quickly and accurately while maintaining our quality and food safety standards. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, and you’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-line team to keep service running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare food items according to recipes and portion standards
Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely
Ensure food is cooked properly, presented well, and served on time
Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked
Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules
Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces
Assist with prep work, including cutting, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or supply needs
Assist with receiving deliveries, proper storage, and stock rotation (FIFO)
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Perform opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (QSR or fast-paced kitchen a plus)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality
Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and procedures accurately
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Positive, mature, and professional attitude at all times
Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and lead by example when needed
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve
Able to communicate respectfully and support team members during busy shifts
Able to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
