Job Overview

Join our vibrant agricultural team as an Apple Picker and become an essential part of the harvest season! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for carefully selecting ripe apples from orchard trees, ensuring only the highest quality fruit is harvested. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver fresh, delicious apples to markets and customers. This paid position offers a dynamic outdoor work environment where physical activity and teamwork drive success. We will be paying 0.10 cents per pound, so if you are fast and efficient, its for you. If you’re motivated, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a thriving farm operation, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

Skillfully pick ripe apples from orchard trees, following proper harvesting techniques to prevent damage
Use picking bags to collect fruit efficiently and safely
Operate farm machinery like ladders and lightweight equipment to reach higher branches or transport harvested apples

Experience

Prior experience with horticulture or farming is a plus but not required; training will be provided
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with farm machinery and power tools is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for long periods of active work
