Creekside Landing is a unique campus of care that offers aging couples, seniors, and friends — whose individual care needs differ greatly — the ability to continue to live together in proximity. The campus provides a safe, supportive home and 24-hour nursing care for seniors who can no longer live independently, whether due to physical or cognitive issues.
We have expanded our Creekside Landing location to include the newly constructed Osprey Court, located just a hop, skip and jump (literally!) over Vernon Creek. This new, state of the art, modern facility will be residence to 96 seniors. We are looking for dedicated and passionate nurses to support residents in making choices that promote independence, enhance their lives, and enable them to age with dignity.

We have permanent full time, part time and casual shifts available for days, evenings and nights at Creekside Landing and Osprey Court.

What You Will Do
- Reporting to and under the direction of the Director of Care, promote and enhance high quality clinical care practice and leadership within the nursing process according to the day-to-day needs of the resident.
- Provide nursing care to our residents in accordance with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of Practice.
- Responsible and accountable to gerontological and nursing standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, medication reviews, and mental health rounds of our residents.
- Maintain resident health care records and charting in compliance with established standards and legislative requirements.
- Ensure that resident rights are maintained and respected which includes confidentiality and the right to participate in his or her own care.
- Ensure that high quality clinical care is provided, outcomes are evaluated, and interventions are implemented based on the needs of residents.
Your Qualifications – The Must Have’s
- Graduate of a recognized Nursing Program and current registration with the BCCNM
- Current Level One Occupational First Aid and Level C CPR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- You have the physical ability and emotional stamina to carry out the duties of the role
- You have a genuine passion for caring for our residents
- Ability to organize workloads and have excellent time management skills
- You can work independently as well as take direction, be a team player, be flexible, and be able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills

Shifts/Rotations: We currently have Days ( 0700-1500) Evening( 1500-2300) and Nights ( 2300-0700) rotations as well as mixed rotations available.
