Lead Hand Control Panel Technician
About Our Client
Our client is a leader in manufacturing lift machinery for mechanics – they even make lifts big enough to lift a city bus! Come be an integral part of their operation, as a control panel planner/builder. This is such an interesting job for the right, experienced candidate. They are located on Ancaster, On.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Control Panel Technician:
- Responsible for the assembly & installation of complete control systems using electrical schematics and operations sheets.
- Assemble control panels by laying out components, mounting and wiring them accordingly to the electrical schematics.
- Position, install and wire operator consoles and enclosures.
- Wire and install limit switches, proximity switches, motors and other electrical components mounted on the equipment.
- Troubleshoots, repair, replaces all electrical equipment as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Control Panel Technician:
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics on your own.
- Experience is design work
- Management of a small team
- 4+ Years Siemens PLC experience.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC programming.
- 4+ Years Allen Bradley experience (not mandatory, but an asset).
- 4+ Years panel assembly and installation experience.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $30.00+per hour, depending on experience
- Benefits after 3 months
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
- Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm
- Fridays 7am- 2pm
Where You Will Be Working, as a Control Panel Technician :
- Ancaster, ON
- May not be bus accessible
