Position Summary:
The FSQA Technician reports to the FSQA Manager and is responsible for ensuring quality standards, procedures, and compliance with all QA-related SOPs and SSOPs are consistently met and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing Pre-op, Post op inspection and monitoring GMP’s during production.
ATP, Allergen and Environmental swabbing as per the defined frequency.
Completing follow ups with sanitation on any failed swab results.
Completing SSOP manual review annually and update SSOP’s as and when required and complete on sites for the SSOP’s.
Coordinating with multi-functional team to ensure non-dailies are completed as per the defined frequency.
Attending sanitation meetings and informing any concerns related to the sanitation program.
Training and updating employees in any relevant procedures.
Performing verification of scales, thermometers and verify production records, calibration records and QA records.
Conducting oil free fatty acid checks and performing organoleptic testing.
Performing quality checks on the finished products.
Updating the Pre-op matrix when required.
Performing other duties as assigned by FSQA Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

2-3 year of direct Quality Assurance experience.
Able to interpret, develop and manage HACCP plans.
Demonstrates knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, HACCP, and proper employee hygiene practices to ensure food safety
Thorough understanding of GMP’s and the ability to communicate and train
Working with minimal supervision
Experience with basic Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel)
Working in cold / cool / warm / hot environments.
