Full job description

Roll-Off Truck Driver

The Roll-Off Truck Driver plays a key role in FLR’s waste management operations by safely transporting and servicing roll-off bins while ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a motivated, safety-conscious professional who can operate equipment skillfully, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a clean, organized yard and shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate roll-off trucks and related equipment in compliance with company, local, and provincial regulations.
Complete daily dispatches for bin deliveries, pickups, relocations, and disposals while ensuring instructions are followed accurately.
Communicate proactively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth, professional service and timely issue resolution.
Conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain driver logs, and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
Uphold company safety standards and the FLR Transport Safety Manual to protect team members, customers, and the public.
Assist with yard and shop maintenance tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and equipment upkeep.
Mentor new employees, model positive teamwork and professionalism, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Anticipate daily operational needs to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid Class 3 (or higher) driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract.
High school diploma preferred.
Proven leadership ability with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in completing paperwork and inspections.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work safely.
Strong customer service focus and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
