Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive electrical project estimates, supporting project planning, and ensuring profitability. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects within a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques. The Electrical Estimator plays a vital role in bidding processes and project execution, contributing to the company's growth and success.

Duties

Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects using industry-standard software such as Accubid and Bluebeam.
Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and material requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate terms.
Develop accurate cost projections for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
Assist in bid preparation by compiling comprehensive proposals that meet client specifications.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current market prices for electrical materials and labor rates.
Support project management teams during project execution by providing cost analysis and change order estimates.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies throughout the estimating process.

Skills

Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
Effective project management abilities to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously.
Solid knowledge of pricing strategies within the construction industry.
Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
