Full job description

We are seeking a strong Director/Program Supervisor

Job Summary
The Program Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our educational and caregiving programs. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, particularly those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and experience working with diverse populations, including children with special needs. The Program Supervisor will lead a team of educators and caregivers to implement effective curricula while fostering positive relationships with families.

Responsibilities

Monitor classroom activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and educational standards.
Supervise and support a team of educators and caregivers in delivering high-quality early childhood education programs.
Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and provide feedback to staff on instructional practices.
Collaborate with families to create individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child.
Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in early childhood education and caregiving.
Maintain accurate records of program activities, attendance, and assessments.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all children.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with staff, families, and community partners.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing program operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education , or Level 3 certification
Infant/Child C.P.R. and First Aid updated yearly Criminal record and sector check
Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in education.
Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering collaboration among staff members.
Compassionate approach to caregiving with a commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children.

This position is essential for providing quality educational experiences that empower children to thrive in their developmental journey.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
