ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Flag Person to join our team in our aggregate’s pits. This is a part-time, temporary position ideal for someone who is committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

This is a contract position till October 31st, 2026.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Directing traffic and equipment movement within the pits
Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist in daily safety meetings
Be self-motivated and dependable
Communicating effectively with equipment operators and site personnel
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Work Experience: Previous flagging experience is an asset but not required.
Required Training/Certifications: Class-5 license and own means of transportation is required.
Travel Requirements: Drive between Stoney Trail & Glendale Locations

Additional Requirements:

Able to work from Monday to Saturday, 4-8/hour days, 6:00 AM start.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work outdoors and tolerate a variety of weather conditions, including rain and heat
Willing to work while being exposed to dust, dirt, varying temperatures, loud noises, etc.
Oral communication
Able to work well with others
