Full job description

Job #5027 – Join a fast-growing, stable organization in a thriving market as an Assistant Controller! Our client is seeking a solutions-focused finance professional ready to lead, improve processes, and make a tangible impact on operational effectiveness! As Assistant Controller, you will work closely with finance professionals at all levels while helping manage a dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely completion of monthly financial reporting
Technical accounting analysis under IFRS, including summarizing financial results for senior leadership
Reviewing software contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition under IFRS 15
Coordinating audit requests
Helping integrate new acquisitions into the finance group
Leading ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include:

CPA designation complete or in progress
Formal accounting education
3+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance environment
Strong Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Assets (nice to have):

Experience with IFRS
Public accounting firm or SaaS experience
