Overview
Join our dynamic automotive team as a passionate and energetic Automotive Service Advisor! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every vehicle owner. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and customer service will drive customer satisfaction, foster trust, and promote repeat business. Duties

Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately record their needs to provide exceptional service.
Explain repair recommendations clearly and confidently, utilizing your automotive knowledge to educate customers on necessary services.
Prepare detailed auto estimates for repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.
Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that enhance vehicle performance and safety while aligning with customer needs.
Manage service write-ups efficiently using dealership management software; handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships that lead to repeat business.

Skills

Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service management and customer relations.
Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brakes, alignments, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs.
Ability to effectively upsell services by identifying customer needs and explaining benefits clearly.
Experience in auto estimating software and service writing to generate accurate quotes quickly.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in a professional manner.
Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background enhances credibility with both customers and technicians.
Strong cash handling skills along with sales experience to maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining integrity.
Familiarity with dealership operations including auto sales processes is a plus. Join us in delivering top-tier automotive care!
