Job Summary
We are seeking an entry level Siding Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in using hand tools and performing tasks related to carpentry and construction. This role involves cutting materials accurately, and ensuring high-quality standards in every project. The Siding Labourer will play a vital role in the production process, contributing to the successful completion of various projects. This role has room to grow within our company and apprenticeship opportunities are available to the right candidates.

Duties

Utilize hand tools and equipment to cut materials according to specifications.
Perform caulking and sealing tasks as needed for project completion.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project timelines.
Conduct quality checks on cut materials to ensure they meet required standards.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary for project execution.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience with hand tools and equipment used in cutting and carpentry.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
Ability to work at heights and safety use ladders.
Strong maintenance person skills with a focus on building and construction tasks.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
