Full job description

CLERK/STENOGRAPHER

The Clerk Steno acts as a resource to both internal and external individuals, and assists the Senior Administrative Support – Elementary in the administrative and secretarial duties of the school office under the direction of the administrator.

School: Worsley ES

Principal: Jennifer Case

Schedule: Part-time, 0.4 FTE - 14 hours weekly; Schedule Monday/Friday 8:45am - 4:45pm

Qualifications:

Required: Grade 12 diploma. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to follow directions and work as a team member. Good organizational, secretarial and word processing skills. Knowledge of MS Word at the Basic skill level. Experience with Outlook.

Preferred: Knowledge of PowerSchool, SchoolCash.net, JDE, attendance procedures and EasyConnect. First Aid, CPR and Microsoft Publisher would be an asset.

The duties, responsibilities and requirements for these positions are not limited to the above, but may include all of those in the Job Fact Sheet for Clerk/Stenographer.

Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees,

even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
