Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! As a key leader in our food service operation, you will craft exceptional dishes, oversee kitchen activities, and inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to food quality in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Your energy and commitment will help elevate our restaurant’s reputation and delight every guest who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
Lead and work efficiently on the hotline during service
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to company standards
Supervise, support, and motivate kitchen staff during prep and service
Train new and existing team members on recipes, plating, procedures, and kitchen standards
Maintain consistency, quality control, and portion standards
Help manage prep lists, inventory, ordering, and waste control
Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are followed
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization throughout all shifts
Assist with scheduling and delegation of daily tasks
Step into leadership roles when the Executive Chef is absent

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management within the food industry or hospitality sector.
Experinaced in fine dining
Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of effective team management.
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including inventory control, food costing, menu development, and kitchen workflows.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong crital thinking and problem solving skills
Passion for culinary arts combined with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
