Full job description

Mitchell Electric is a well-established Electrical Contractor located in the Durham region that provides services for industrial, commercial, and residential services across Ontario who is currently looking for a Journeyperson to join our team. This successful candidate will be working on a large commercial account for a well known established company.

Requirements:

At least 5 to 10 years of commercial experience.
Possesses a valid 309A and is an active member Skilled Trades Ontario.
A valid Ontario G Drivers License with a clean record.
Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Time management & organizational Skills.
Some out of town work when needed.

Qualifications:

Experience managing electricians and apprentices.
Run test on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
Direct and train workers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
Renovate electrical systems in commercial structures.
Ensuring all work is done according to proper codes and specifications.
Inspecting and making modifications to electrical systems and troubleshooting problems as they arise to keep sites running smoothly and safely.
Competitive wages based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
