Full job description

Oversee all general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes.
Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements
Preparation of weekly cashflows
Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all Canadian tax regulations and other statutory reporting requirements.
Coordinate and manage external audit/review.
Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making.
Analyzing and reporting cost variances
Supervising accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting departments
HST filing
US sales tax filing/reconciliations
Maintain relationship with the bank(s)
Oversee payroll

Well rounded full cycle accounting background
Experience with inventory
Self starter who takes initiative and can work independently
