Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, excellent observational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring activities in and around the water, enforcing safety rules, and providing assistance in emergencies.

Responsibilities

Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and participants.
Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Communicate effectively with patrons regarding safety procedures and facility policies.

Requirements

Must be at least 15 years of age
Must have NLS, CPR-C & First Aid
NL / NLS license (required)
National Lifeguard Certification (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
