About Chronicle Brewing Co
Chronicle Brewing Co is a craft brewery in Bowmanville, Ontario. We brew beer we're proud of, and now we want it on more taps, shelves, and tables around the region. That's where you come in. This is a ground floor role, and you get paid directly for the results you bring in.
The Role
We're hiring a Sales Representative to grow our wholesale and account business across restaurants, bars, licensees, and consignment accounts. You'll be out in the field opening doors, finding leads, and turning them into paying customers. The pay is commission based, so it suits someone who likes to run their own game. The more accounts you land and grow, the more you earn.
You'll run your own territory, but there is some structure to how we work. We ask reps to plan their approach before they head out, then report back on what they did and what worked. If you like owning your numbers and getting rewarded for real results, you'll fit in here.
What You'll Do
- Find and bring in new leads across restaurants, bars, licensees, and retail or consignment accounts.
- Win new customers and grow the accounts you already have, from the first pitch through sampling, closing, and follow up.
- Put together a clear sales plan before you head out: who you're going after, how you'll approach them, and what you expect to happen.
- Report back on what you did, which accounts you visited, how it went, and what comes next.
- Visit accounts in person, follow up, and keep those relationships warm.
- Keep good records of your leads, contacts, and where each account stands.
- Represent Chronicle Brewing Co well at accounts and events.
Compensation and Perks
- Commission based pay tied to the leads you generate and the customers you bring in. There is no cap, so what you earn comes down to how you perform. We'll walk through the commission structure and rate together.

What We're Looking For
- Someone self driven who does well on commission and likes chasing results.
- Comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business.
- Organized and disciplined, able to plan before acting and report clearly afterward.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence, since there is travel involved.
- Sales experience is preferred. Any background in craft beer, beverages, hospitality, or food and beverage distribution is a real plus.
- A genuine interest in craft beer goes a long way.
- Smart Serve certification is an asset, or a willingness to get it.
