About Bluinkwl
Bluinkwl Agency is seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
Our agency provides individualized, evidence-based services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental needs through an innovative movement-based therapy model that integrates occupational therapy, functional skill development, and collaborative care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with children, partnering with families, and helping clients build the skills needed for greater independence, confidence, and participation in everyday life.
Flexible weekday and weekend caseloads are available.
Position Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that address each child's functional abilities, sensory processing, motor development, emotional regulation, and participation in daily activities.
You will collaborate with families and other professionals to provide evidence-based interventions that support meaningful progress across home, school, and community environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
- Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Assess and address sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor, gross motor, visual motor, and functional living skills
- Support self-care, daily living skills, school readiness, and community participation
- Provide evidence-based intervention for children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, and related diagnoses
- Educate and coach parents and caregivers to promote skill carryover across environments
- Collaborate with Behaviour Analysts, Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) standards, PHIPA requirements, and professional ethics
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and program development initiatives
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience (preferred)
- Experience working with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental disabilities, and sensory processing challenges
- Experience conducting pediatric occupational therapy assessments
- Knowledge of sensory processing, fine motor development, gross motor development, visual motor integration, executive functioning, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Experience providing parent coaching and caregiver education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transportation for community-based services
